In Part 2 of my coverage from the Watertown Greek Festival 2026, the spotlight turned to the powerful performance by the Sons & Daughters of Alexander the Great dance group. From stoic portraits of dancers in authentic costumes to high-leaping figures and whipping mantilia scarves, it was inspiring to see young people keeping Hellenic traditions alive. The set built to an unforgettable climax as the crowd joined in for a massive Kalamatiano that packed the entire tent!
